Meaghan Burdick
Meaghan Burdick has cut a remarkable career path that gives her unique strengths in both government service and in the expanding world of online marketing. Her federal government experience is based on her five years of service in the administration of President Obama, first as White House Liaison in the Small Business Administration (SBA) then three years as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the SBA.
Engaged in the 2008 and the 2012 presidential campaigns, Meaghan created and directed the marketing & merchandising operation for Obama for America during both elections. That effort resulted in her creating over 350 million dollars raised between 2011 and 2013. Her innovative program has been copied but never duplicated in its volume and breadth as a national political marketing campaign. Prior to signing on with Obama For America, she was director of marketing and online services for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and was also the director of marketing for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC). Additionally she was the manager of direct marketing at EMILY’S List. She remains an active mentor and supporter of women candidates through-out the country. She is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Political Science and Government. A native of Chicago, she divides her time between her hometown and Washington, DC working as a principal of 14th Street Strategies and as a senior advisor to 3 Click Solutions. In addition to her broad base of knowledge in the fields of government and online marketing, she was a producer of the HBO special on the first Obama for President campaign and was recognized for her work by being nominated for a Grammy in 2009. |
